Perkins is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students with visual impairments and complex needs. This full-time temporary leave coverage role focuses on direct therapy, consultation, and staff training within an interdisciplinary team.

You will assess, plan, and implement OT services, develop measurable goals, and coordinate with physicians and families. Perkins offers strong benefits and professional development opportunities at the Watertown campus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience with sensory deficits in vision or multiple impairments.
• Ability to obtain/maintain First Aid, CPR/AED and Safety Care certifications.
• Massachusetts OT registration.

Aufgaben

• Perform clinical evaluation and provide therapy / reports for students with visual impairments and complex needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and assistive devices as needed.
• Participate in IEP/ISP meetings and consults with program staff.
• Maintain student records and report progress to the team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Ausbildung

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Registration as a certified Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts

First Aid / CPR / AED, and Safety Care certifications
