Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant course of study, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years clinical experience, including minimum 2 years in a managed care/HMO organization.
• Experience applying medical management guidelines (InterQual/MCG) or similar.
• Familiarity with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and administrative tasks within scope of practice.
• Prepare patients for examination and record vitals.
• Perform venipuncture, ear lavage, medication administration as needed.
• Handle chart preparation, scheduling, referrals and follow-ups.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate medical records.
• Support safe and compliant clinical environment.
