Job summary

Pacific Medical Group, part of Praxis Health, in Tigard, Oregon, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and ensure smooth patient care. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in EHR, and assisting with procedures in a collaborative clinic setting.

The role requires at least 1 year of MA experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a Medical Assisting credential if available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assisting diploma from an accredited program preferred.
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, medical history, and allergy/asthma updates.
• Accurately document in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and testing.
• Manage clinical tasks including prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription support.
• Contribute to daily team flow and support patients and staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment.
