Fairfield Residential is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician II at Stratton in San Diego to perform daily upkeep, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues, and prepare vacant units for new residents.

This temporary/full-time role includes on-call rotations, with an emphasis on safety, cleanliness, and community quality. The assignment is anticipated to last about 3–6 months, with opportunities for continuation based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs in electrical, plumbing, and appliances.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prepare vacant apartments.
• Maintain exterior areas and pool; participate in on-call emergencies.
• Communicate with vendors, report inventory needs and safety issues.
