The temporary position runs through December 2026 with some travel to the Arcadia location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• 0-3 years of prior experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients and visitors.
• Communicate with back‑office staff upon patient arrival.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Manage patient portal messages.
• Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
• Answer phone calls and handle all phases of telephone communications, including scheduling in‑office appointments.
• Route all calls to appropriate departments and take accurate and neat messages, forwarding them timely.
• Conduct appointment reminder calls to patients.
• Notify the physician if there are any schedule changes.
• Assist with prescription refills when needed.
