RHP Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Balsam Lake/River View Manor community in Wisconsin. The role involves general grounds and lawn upkeep, basic repairs to homes, and working 40 hours per week on a temporary basis.

You will perform maintenance to keep homes and common areas in good condition, handle work orders, and interact politely with residents and staff. A minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience and a high school diploma are preferred; a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid operator’s license and a good driving record.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
• May need to provide own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance to ensure homes and community areas are in proper condition.
• Execute assigned work orders and report status to the Community Manager.
• Promote goodwill by courteous interactions with residents, prospective residents, visitors, and staff.
• Use established procedures to identify deficiencies and take action with Community Manager approval.
• Maintain grounds: mow, trim, weed, plant flowers/shrubs, mulch, and hedge care.
• Remove garbage from grounds and resident sites to maintain appearance.
• Perform snow removal using a snowblower, shovel, or plow truck as applicable.
• Advise Community Manager of improper garbage disposal or bulky items for pickup.
• Inventory maintenance and grounds equipment and supplies; report needs.
• Maintain garage and storage area cleanliness and order.
• Comply with health and safety laws to reduce accidents.
• Remain on-call for duties as needed.
• Participate in refurbishing Community Owned homes.
• Perform repairs and maintain water and sewer lines.
