Job summary

SoLa Impact is seeking an experienced Temporary Lease Up Property Manager to lead daily operations at a workforce+ institutional-style multifamily community in Los Angeles. You will own lease-up, resident relations, financials, maintenance, and vendor workflows from day one.

In this hands-on role, you will drive vacancy-to-stabilization using Yardi CRM, show units, process applications, manage payables, and supervise maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Lease-up experience at a workforce+ or institutional-style multifamily property.
• 3+ years of property management experience with at least 2 years supervising others.
• Proficiency in Yardi CRM for managing prospect pipelines and operations.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, leasing compliance, and fair housing.
• Strong financial acumen; ability to read budgets and explain variances.
• Self-directed, organized, and able to operate independently.
• Passion for SoLa's mission of providing affordable housing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of an institutional workforce housing property.
• Drive lease-up from vacancy to stabilization using Yardi CRM.
• Show, screen, and lease units; process applications, move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and notices.
• Manage receivables and maintain financial records in Yardi.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual variance reports and monitor budget.
• Supervise Maintenance Technician; coordinate work orders and vendor scheduling.
• Maintain vendor relationships and payables workflows.
• Serve as primary resident contact; resolve issues and close the loop.
• Maintain property appearance, compliance, and budget performance.
