Job summary

LabConnect Cleveland is seeking a Clinical Sample Specialist to manage sample intake, storage, onsite processing, and shipments to partner laboratories. You will coordinate with Client Services, Sample Tracking Solutions, and Clinical Trial Materials to ensure timely, accurate handling of specimens.

The role is at our Cleveland facility with a Tuesday–Saturday 7:00am–3:30pm EST schedule. It is temporary for 2–3 months but full-time with benefits, requiring GDP knowledge and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or higher preferred in lab/health/science or related field.
• Experience in clinical research or lab settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage sample receipt and documentation.
• Label and store specimens properly.
• Coordinate with CS, STS, CTM for timely handling.
• Assist with QC and shipping of samples.
• Maintain freezer/refrigerator and handle dry ice disposal.
• Complete daily checklists and attend required trainings.
