Job summary

Qualifications

• Internal candidates require a minimum of two years in a Group Leader/related role.
• 5 years experience in a laboratory; Medical or production background preferred.
• Previous people leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Specimen Processing department and related functions.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for Specimen Processing.
• Review SOPs biannually and ensure compliance; update as needed.
• Ensure licensure requirements are met in collaboration with QA/Medical Director offices.
• Maintain documentation for internal and external inspections/audits.
• Provide training and oversee competency of staff; conduct performance reviews.
