Job summary

MDpanel, one of the largest providers of expert medical opinions in the United States, is seeking a Temp IT Technician to manage on-site hardware inventory and lifecycle tasks, including audits, disposition, and asset shipping prep.

In this role you will handle helpdesk requests, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity, configure devices for new hires, and work with the IT team and MSP to resolve issues while maintaining accurate asset records. Onsite work with heavy lifting is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience within an IT helpdesk role.
• 2+ years experience with Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
• Familiarity with ticketing system such as Salesforce.
• Prolonged periods of sitting, manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Audit and manage onsite IT hardware inventory and dispositions.
• Respond to inbound helpdesk requests and troubleshoot hardware connectivity issues.

Position Summary:

The Temp IT Technician handles on-site hardware inventory and lifecycle management, including auditing and tracking equipment, processing devices for recycling or disposal, tracking warranties, and prepping assets for shipping or e-waste. On the help desk side, they respond to support requests, troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues, test and configure devices for new hires and associates before deployment, and escalated anomalies to the IT team or MSP as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Hardware Inventory Coordination

• Audit, inventory and organize onsite IT hardware; maintaining accurate documentation of status, inventory and disposition
• Process hardware for recycling and disposal
• Device warranty tracking
• Packing and preparing IT assets for shipping per handling and logistics requirements
• Maintain asset retirement traction; preparation of e-waste for disposal

IT Helpdesk Assistance

• Responding to inbound support requests; assist with troubleshooting of hardware and connectivity issues
• Testing hardware & software set-up for internal associates and new hires pre-deployment
• Support basic setup, imaging and configuration of desktops, laptops, tablets and peripherals as directed.
• Collaborate with the IT team and MSP as needed, and escalated issues when set up anomalies or failures are identified

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years experience within an IT helpdesk role
• 2+ years experience with Windows 10 & 11 operating systems
• Familiarity with ticketing system such as salesforce
• Prolonged periods of sitting, manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 45 lbs
