Job summary

MDpanel LLC is seeking a Technology Technician to manage enterprise-wide hardware operations and IT support for the Perrysburg, Ohio office. The role covers asset lifecycle, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and vendor coordination, with a focus on end-user support and security controls.

The technician serves as the onsite IT resource, supporting end users, servers, connectivity, backups, and documentation. Travel to other MDpanel locations may be required.

Position Summary:

The Technology Technician is responsible for managing MDpanel's enterprise-wide hardware operations and supporting the technology asset lifecycle across MDpanel divisions and locations. This includes the coordination, deployment, maintenance, replacement, logistics, and retirement of company technology assets.

The position is based at the Perrysburg, Ohio office and is 100% onsite; remote work is not available. In addition to these enterprise-wide hardware responsibilities, the technician serves as the onsite IT resource for the Ohio office, supporting end users, infrastructure, systems, connectivity, servers, backups, security controls, and other onsite technology needs.

The technician also serves as a primary point of contact for MDpanel IT support, assisting users with system access, software, applications, operating systems, connectivity, and other daily technology needs. The role supports user access throughout the account lifecycle, provides technology guidance, maintains support documentation, coordinates with vendors, and escalates technical or security issues as needed. This position reports to the Information Technology Manager, works closely with the Technology and Cybersecurity teams, and may travel to other MDpanel locations as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Hardware & Asset Support

• Maintain accurate inventory and records for MDpanel technology assets, equipment, software, licenses, assignments, locations, and status, including but not limited to computers, VoIP phones, tablets, printers, network equipment, accessories, and related technology.
• Responsible for the full lifecycle of technology assets, such as procurement support, preparation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, repair, reimaging, replacement, reassignment, return, secure data wiping, and retirement.
• Coordinate all technology asset logistics, including packing, shipping, tracking, transfers, relocations, replacements, receipt confirmation, and movement across users, departments, and MDpanel locations.
• Coordinate warranty, repair, service, replacement, and other vendor support for technology assets.
• Support and maintain shared office technology and peripherals, such as supplies, service requests, maintenance, and vendor coordination.

Software & End-User Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for MDpanel users needing IT support, whether in person or remotely.
• Support user access to company systems, applications, shared resources, and technology platforms throughout the authorized user lifecycle, including setup, changes, transfers, and departures. Troubleshoot, install, configure, test, update, and support software, applications, operating systems, connectivity, and related end-user technologies.
• Provide basic training and guidance on company technology, systems, applications, and IT procedures.
• Maintain accurate ticket notes, troubleshooting details, asset records, and documentation for completed work.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, system information, network diagrams, and other technical operational records.

Infrastructure & Security

• Support and maintain MDpanel’s technology infrastructure, including network, server, telecommunications, conference room, cabling, power protection, and related physical systems.
• Maintain server rooms, network closets, racks, environmental conditions, physical access, and other supporting infrastructure.
• Support backup, recovery, and service continuity processes, including monitoring, restore testing, and remediation of failures.
• Support security and compliance operations, including endpoint protection, patching, device management, monitoring, remediation, and immediate escalation of suspected security incidents.
• Support infrastructure changes, system deployments, service transitions, and other technology initiatives in coordination with IT, Cybersecurity, and third-party providers.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers supporting connectivity, telecommunications, infrastructure, managed services, and related IT operations.
• Identify recurring technology issues, service failures, and operational risks and elevate them to IT leadership as appropriate.
• Perform other technology-related responsibilities and projects assigned by IT leadership or management.
• Travel to other MDpanel locations when onsite technology support is required.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience in an onsite, end-user-facing role.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, including imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and managing user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID.
• Experience supporting Windows Server in a small office environment.
• Hands-on networking experience, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, switches, and wireless.
• Experience supporting VoIP phones, printers, and multifunction copiers.
• Experience supporting macOS.
• Experience working from a ticketing system and documenting work clearly.
• Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of protecting sensitive data, with a willingness to follow security policies.
• Strong customer service skills and patience when helping non-technical users.
• Solid troubleshooting, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities.

Preferred Skills:

• Regularly lift and carry equipment up to 45 lbs, including computers, monitors, printers, and other technology equipment.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach under desks or into tight spaces to run cables and connect equipment.
• Sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Occasionally work outside normal business hours for maintenance windows, deployments, urgent issues, or requests.
• Travel to other MDpanel locations as required.

Work Setting:

Onsite at the Perrysburg, Ohio office.
