Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a Temporary IT Support Technician to provide end-user support for PCs, notebooks, printers, and related peripherals across client locations through year-end. Responsibilities include installation, relocation, software configuration, and ensuring security compliance.

Candidate should have a Diploma in Computer Engineering or related field, 2 years' PC/printer support experience, and strong English communication. Windows 7/8, Outlook, and basic TCP/IP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2 years' experience supporting PCs and printers.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Strong end-user communication, analytical and customer-service skills.
• Pleasant personality and positive attitude.
• Proficient in Windows 7 and Windows 8 client environments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficient with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Symantec Antivirus and Attachmate Extra Program.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP concepts.
• Basic knowledge of supporting iOS devices (iPhone and iPad).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for PCs, notebooks, printers and other PC peripherals.
• Relocate and install PCs, printers, and other peripherals, including standard software, across Client locations.
• Install and configure end-user software, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
• Follow security and virus-protection requirements.
• Ensure software is virus-free before installation.
• Install LAN client software and hardware as appropriate.
• Update asset data when equipment is installed or relocated.
• Provide support for Windows-based applications and end-user technology.
