Job summary

FUN.com is seeking a Temporary Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team in Elsmere, KY. You will monitor the help desk, triage tickets, and resolve basic to moderate issues, elevating more complex problems when needed.

You'll set up hardware for new hires or replacements, maintain organized IT hardware, and assist with inventory, user accounts, and standard IT tasks. This role is not a call center and does not require programming knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Windows10, Microsoft Office, PC hardware, and driver installation.
• Willingness to investigate problems and learn.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure hardware for new hires or as replacements.
• Keep IT hardware organized and maintained, including storage in warehouse spaces and the server room.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate hardware is available as needed.
• Create and disable user accounts.
• Investigate and resolve basic issues within the Computer Support category of the IT helpdesk.
• Escalate more advanced tickets to the next level of support, assisting with fixes where appropriate.
