Job summary

FUN.com seeks a Temporary Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. You will monitor the computer support help desk, triaging tickets and resolving basic to moderate issues, while elevating complex problems to higher levels of support.

You will also set up hardware for new hires or replacements and maintain organized IT hardware, inventory, and access controls. Collaboration with the team is essential, and independent work is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support experience or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and investigate issues
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure hardware for new hires or replacements.
• Keep IT hardware organized and maintained, including warehouse and server room storage.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate hardware availability.
• Create and disable user accounts.
• Investigate and resolve basic issues within the Computer Support category of IT helpdesk.
• Escalate more advanced tickets to the next level of support and assist with fixes where appropriate.
