Job summary

april is seeking an IT Specialist to support and maintain internal systems, ensuring productivity and security across the team. You will handle day-to-day IT operations, access control, device management, and on-demand user support.

This temporary, full-time role runs from December 2026 to May 2027, with a potential to convert to FTE. NYC-area team members must be on-site at least three days per week, and collaboration across time zones is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT roles with hands-on macOS management via an MDM platform.
• Experience with identity providers and SSO (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Entra ID).
• Experience setting up video conferencing and meeting-room systems.
• Ability to work independently across time zones and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide help desk support for US-based employees.
• Own onboarding and offboarding for US-based employees, including equipment procurement and provisioning.
• Administer user access and devices across identity provider, SSO, and MDM in macOS.
• Assist with security operations, including first-line EDR alert triage for compliance.
• Maintain clear documentation for systems and processes.
