Job summary

Lansing Community College’s Technical Careers Division seeks a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology to deliver high-quality instruction in Electrical Linework and Electrical Technology. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field with 2+ years field experience; or an equivalent combination as listed.
• Ability to provide high-quality instruction in Electrical Utility/Lineworker Technology in classroom and labs.
• Willingness to teach across Electrical Linework and Electrical Technology courses and participate in curriculum development and college initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction in classroom and lab settings focused on climbing, construction, and maintenance of electrical lines.
• Lead and participate in program, department, and college-wide committees for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate courses, tutor and advise students, mentor peers, and contribute to program outcomes.
