Sotheby’s is seeking Exhibition Staff to be a brand ambassador at our New York galleries, delivering a warm, high-end client experience across lobby, reception, and exhibition spaces. You will help manage visitor flow and provide information about exhibitions and sales processes.

Ideal candidates bring strong interpersonal skills, a calm and discreet demeanor, and a passion for art. Weekend and evening availability is required; experience in luxury hospitality is preferred to uphold Sotheby’s

Mansioni

• Serve as Brand Ambassador for the Company, portraying a warm, hospitable feeling for clients.
• Facilitate premier in-person experience across front of house spaces (Lobby Desk, Coat Check, Exhibition Floors).
• Direct visitor flow by managing timed-entry, queues, and elevator access.
• Assist clients with inquiries using knowledge of international sale calendars, events, and locations.
• Coordinate with Specialist and Non-Specialist departments to meet client needs.
• Maintain accounts and create new client accounts; facilitate bid registrations.
• Demonstrate understanding of the auction process to communicate with clients.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as needed; adhere to front of house attire requirements.
