D.R. Horton, Inc. – Multifamily is seeking an Escrow Assistant for a temporary assignment at our Financial Services Escrow Branch in Wayne, PA.

The role involves preparing escrow files, ordering title commitments, processing payoff statements, and coordinating closings under supervision. Excellent organizational and customer-service skills are required. The position supports the escrow team with administrative tasks, document preparation, and communication with lenders and buyers throughout the

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, or six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send opening letters and acknowledgements to all parties.
• Order title commitments and distribute to relevant parties.
• Prepare receipts for funds received from customers and lenders.
• Order wire transfers and provide wiring instructions.
• Prepare loan packages for return to lender.
• Assist branch manager with administrative tasks.
• Receive builder reports, obtain hazard insurance information, and schedule closings.
• Maintain records and assist with post-closing duties as needed.
• Handle customer questions regarding the administrative process of transactions.
