Job summary

Oorwin AI in Boston, MA is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to work with the IT Manager on setting up 62 workstations and assisting with technology deployment and IT operations. The Desktop Support Technician will work with the IT Manager to support the setup of 62 workstations, including monitors, and assist with technology deployment and other IT operational initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Install monitors and docking stations, and test for accuracy.
• Assist staff with connecting laptops to the docking stations.
• Provide audiovisual support to staff, including connecting to conference room equipment.
• Test server and workstation network connectivity.

Qualifications

Required

• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a closely related field
• Two to four years of experience
• One year of desktop support experience.

Preferred

• Experience installing and configuring monitors, docking stations, and peripheral devices.
• Experience providing in-person technical support to end users.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 11.
• Experience supporting conference room audiovisual equipment and meeting technology.
• Experience supporting office relocations or large-scale workstation deployments.
• Experience with cable management and workstation organization.Experience with Google Workspace.
