NC State University in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Temp Dairy Processing Assistant to support dairy production of milk and ice cream, including cold storage duties and quality control testing.
The role is temporary, 20 hours per week, with typical shifts 8 am–4 pm, Monday to Friday. Prior dairy processing experience and a high school diploma are preferred; no license required.
Temporary Dairy Processing Assistant

Responsibilities include supporting dairy processing staff with tasks related to the production and handling of finished milk and ice cream products. Significant time will be spent in cold storage areas, including the milk cooler and ice cream freezer. Duties include stocking packaged products, assisting with quality control activities such as environmental monitoring, and conducting solids and fat content testing in the laboratory.
Monday‑Friday. Hours are flexible but typically 8 am‑4 pm with lunch. 20 hours per week.
Annual range: $18–$20 per hour.
