Job description

Responsibilities

Supports dairy processing staff with tasks related to the production and handling of finished milk and ice cream products. Significant time is spent in cold storage areas, including the milk cooler and ice cream freezer, stocking packaged products and assisting with quality control activities such as environmental monitoring and conducting solids and fat content testing in the lab.

• CIP – Clean In Place, operation of the cleaning system for tanks and pipes.
• COP – Clean Out of Place, operation of COP vats for small equipment sanitation.
• Separation Equipment Cleaning – operation of the separator in clean mode, breakdown, reassemble, and sanitize.

Work Schedule

Monday–Friday, flexible hours typically 8am–4pm with lunch. 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior dairy processing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
