NC State University seeks an Equine and Farm Animal Attendant to support the veterinary hospital on weekends and after hours in Raleigh. You will perform routine stall and cage maintenance, cleaning, disinfection, waste removal, and provide basic husbandry for equine and farm animal patients.

This temporary position will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary hospital through routine stall/cage maintenance, hospital cleaning and disinfection, and waste removal. Restrain and provide basic husbandry for equine and farm animal patients. Small animal hospital backup, same duties.

High School diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated experience in the handling and restraint of equine patients, including mares with foals, pregnant mares, and stallions, as well as other farm animals. Proficiency in animal husbandry practices, cleaning and disinfection protocols, and basic facility maintenance skills are also required.
