Job summary

Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is seeking a welcoming and customer-focused person to fill a Customer Service position at the Peter Kiewit Lodge in Ashland, NE. Primary hours are 2pm–10pm, with weekends required. You will assist guests with cabin and lodge reservations and provide park information.

This role offers a pay rate of $17.132 per hour and opportunities to grow through official development programs. Applications remain open until 10-16-2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: at least three months experience in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.

• Maintain reservation system records and coordinate with other park offices to ensure cabins are clean and ready for incoming guests.

Job Description

Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is currently seeking a welcoming and customer-focused person to fill a Customer Service position at the Peter Kiewit Lodge. You will be working with customers to set up cabin and lodge rooms reservations, answering calls and giving park information to guests. Primary working hours will be 2pm - 10pm. Every day is a new adventure at Mahoney State Park! Weekends will be required for this position.
