Job summary

Everleap Fertility in Basking Ridge, NJ seeks a Temporary Clinical Assistant for a 6-month period. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, assisting in patient care and supporting the clinical team.

The ideal candidate has 6+ months MA experience, preferred women's health exposure, and proficiency with MS Office. Training on EMR systems is a plus, and benefits are provided after 30 hours/week.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice.
• Prior experience in women's healthcare - preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures.
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures.
• Document ultrasound measurements and provider comments; chaperone ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment; stock examination rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory; manage lab processes.
• Take specimens and coordinate with in-house and outside labs.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility has a temporary opening for a Clinical Assistant for 6 months. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday from 5:30am-1:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

The Clinical Assistant will promote and restore patients' health by assisting in the nursing process and supporting physicians and other multidisciplinary team members with hands-on patient care. You will help to create a positive experience for our patients and ensure that patients receive high-quality service by assisting clinical team with patient care.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Assist Physicians with clinical procedures
• Follow proper protocols for all procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound measurements, provider comments and use appropriate stim templates while chaperoning ultrasounds.
• Clean exam rooms and equipment per protocol.
• Set up and stock examination and procedure rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Manage Lanfax for outside labs, reports, results. Enter results and email to provider team for review.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Nursing/healthcare assistant
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Prior experience in women's healthcare - preferred
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel - required
• EMR experience - preferred
