Everleap Fertility in Waltham, MA is seeking a Clinical Assistant Team Lead for our eight-center operation. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:00pm, with coverage adjustments based on patient volume and rotating weekends/holidays.

The Lead oversees clinical staff, trains new hires, and ensures high-quality patient care. You will manage schedules, ensure supplies, maintain OSHA standards, and collaborate with Clinical Management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - required
• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred
• Studies area: Medical Assistant program
• Phlebotomy State certification required
• Studies area:Phlebotomy Program

Responsibilities

• Trains, evaluates, and coaches staff.
• Oversees MA schedules, assignments, and break times.
• Maintains clinical supplies inventory across offices.
• Manages phlebotomy supplies and ordering.
• Ensures a Safe and Clean work environment.
• Partners with vendors to resolve equipment issues.
• Educates staff on policies and procedures.
• Maintains OSHA safety standards; flags deficiencies.
• Resolves staff conflicts; escalates as needed.
• Owns MA schedule and staffing across centers.

Clinical Assistant Team Lead - Waltham, MA

Salary Range: $24.00 To $28.50 Hourly

Everleap Fertility is currently seeking a Clinical Assistant Team Lead to join our Waltham practice. This position is a full-time position Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm, subject to change with patient volume and coverage. Rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Purpose: The Lead Clinical Assistant oversees clinical employees in their assigned office. This position works collaboratively with Clinical Management Team to ensure offices are adequately staffed and trained to provide excellent patient care. This position provides training to new staff and continuing education to all clinical staff.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Trains, evaluates, and coaches employees.
• Oversees clinical staff schedules, assignments, and break times.
• Oversees maintenance of clinical supplies inventory in all assigned offices.
• Oversees clinical and phlebotomy supplies/ordering/inventory tracking.
• Maintains a Safe and Clean work environment.
• Collaborates with outside vendors to track/resolve errors and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Educates clinical staff on all clinical standard of practice policies and work instructions.
• Maintains OSHA safety standards in office. Elevates deficiencies to Clinical Management Team.
• Effectively communicates with staff to resolve employee conflicts, complaints. Elevates to Clinical Manager/Human Resources as needed.
• Responsible for owning the weekly and daily MA schedule, managing call-outs, and overseeing staffing for the MA department across all 8 centers.

Academic Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) - required
• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program - preferred
• Studies area: Medical Assistant program
• Phlebotomy State certification required
• Studies area:Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a multi-physician practice (three or more physicians) with proven work experience in both clinical and administrative areas -preferred
• Previous experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology and infertility – preferred
• Previous Team Lead or Supervisor experience – preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology - required

Technical Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• EMR experience - required
• Experience assisting in office procedure and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, etc.).
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
