Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to locate parties, verify employment, and identify assets.
• Research and review child support cases using computer systems, including ChAMP.
• Prepare documents related to establishing and enforcing child and medical support orders.
• Negotiate lump-sum payments and out-of-court agreements.
• Monitor cases and refer delinquent cases for appropriate enforcement action.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic case files.
• Review cases for potential closure.
• Explain child support policies and procedures to customers and respond to inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable child support policies, Texas Family Law, and federal regulations.

Position: Full-Time, Contract | Hybrid

Pay: $19.00/hour

Weekly Pay Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

About the Position

Goodwill Talent Solutions is seeking a Contract Child Support Officer II to support the Office of the Texas Attorney General's Child Support Division. This is a detail-oriented, computer-based position involving case research, investigation, data entry, document review, and customer communication. Candidates should be comfortable working with detailed information and learning web-based case management systems, including the Children Are My Priority (ChAMP) system. The position is hybrid after the initial in-office training period.
