Job summary

Ancora Education in Cleveland, OH is seeking an AT - CDL Driver Trainer (Temp) to support Amazon Career Choice by delivering CDL training to students across our markets, including over-the-road, range, and classroom instruction.

This temporary role requires a valid CDL, at least 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience, DOT compliance, and strong communication skills. You will maintain records, administer tests, and model professional safety practices for learners.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – class level meets the position requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check, including a drug screening.
• Ability to pass our road test, as applicable.
• Must pass DOT physical and DOT drug screen.
• Maintain a valid Medical Examiner Certificate and pass DOT tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes all assigned classes per their start and end times.
• Maintains safe environment for students and staff.
• Delivers instruction in trucking/driving and related safety procedures.
• Administers written tests and evaluates grades.
• Instructs pre-trip inspections and CDL driving basics.
