Job summary

Ancora Education seeks a temporary AT - CDL Driver Trainer to support and perform driver training for Amazon Career Choice associates. The role covers over-the-road, range maneuvers, and classroom instruction with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and professional conduct.

Ideal candidates bring a CDL, 3 years on-the-road experience, and strong communication. The position is end-of-season training, up to 90 days, reporting to the Program Director or Lead Trainer.

Qualifications

• CDL license required; class level must meet position requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3 years of verifiable on-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
• DOT physical and DOT drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Train students in trucking/driving and administer written tests.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and air-brake tests; evaluate progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, performance, and attendance.
• Deliver instruction across field and classroom settings with safety in mind.
