Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a temporary AT - CDL Driver Trainer for Amazon Memphis to support CDL training across our markets. The role requires delivering classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, supervising tests, and ensuring safety for students in a dynamic learning environment.

The ideal candidate has a CDL, 3 years of on-road experience, and a strong track record in teaching and evaluating drivers, with DOT and medical compliance knowledge. Locality: Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• CDL required; class level must meet the position.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of verifiable on-the-road CDL experience in the last 5 years.
• MVR and background check including drug screening; DOT medical and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Convenes all assigned classes per their start and end times.
• Maintains a safe environment for all students and staff.
• Administers written tests and evaluates grades.
• Conducts pre-trip inspections and air‑brake tests.
• Instructs steering, backing, parking, and docking maneuvers.
• Maintains progress records using school systems.
• Adheres to policies and ensures confidentiality.
