Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Temporary Campus Store Team Member to join our campus store operations. You will help deliver an exceptional shopping experience, assist students, faculty, and alumni, and support daily store tasks on a fast-paced schedule.

The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and teamwork, with varied weekly hours and a focus on keeping the store customer-ready. This is a temporary assignment with lenient prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Help customers locate course materials, supplies, apparel, and other items.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions.
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and order fulfillment as needed.
