Barnes & Noble College is seeking a Temporary Campus Store Team Member to deliver excellent customer service, help students find course materials and merchandise, and operate the POS system with accuracy. The role supports inventory and daily store operations in a dynamic campus setting.

As part of a team, you’ll stay informed about promotions, products, and store services, ensuring a welcoming, organized experience for customers and staff alike during periods of peak activity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old; California locations require 18.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating materials and merchandise to meet needs.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, and order fulfillment tasks.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet daily priorities in a fast-paced environment.
