Job summary

NC State University is hiring a Temporary Recycling Collections Operator to support waste and recycling collections across campus, including bulk waste, electronics, and reuse items. The role involves coordinating with teams, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with campus events.

Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with early morning start times. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist recycling collections team with routes, bulk waste, electronics, and reuse collections.
• Support campus events with waste/recycling/compost services and staff guidance.
• Perform container inspection, cleaning, labeling, delivery, and maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and report potential hazards.
