Job summary

Anthropologie is seeking a Buying Operations Coordinator to support daily operational functions in the buying area. You will follow up with vendors and cross-functional partners to maintain steady merchandise flow and accurate PO data.

You will liaise between vendors and buyers, set up new vendors, manage SKUs across systems, and assist with pricing, discounts, RTVs, and backorders, while collaborating with Merchandising and Ecommerce for timely activations.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, prioritizing and time management skills; management experience is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and to retain information; analytical mindset.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Develop creative solutions when troubleshooting.
• Team oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• High urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel; comfortable with basic math.

Responsibilities

• Enter and revise purchase orders for selling channels with attention to data accuracy.
• Ensure timely delivery by following up with vendors and cross functional partners.
• Act as liaison between vendor and buyer; update discounts on POs and process RTVs.
• Set up new vendors and assist with compliance questions; support PO maintenance.
• Maintain SKUs in IP, MTS, and Sterling (via B2c) including pricing and attributes.
• Enter price changes and ticket requests as needed.
• Manage backorders and customer service inquiries.
• Collaborate with Buying, Planning, Allocation and Ecommerce teams.
• Coordinate with Merchandising and Web Producers for product activations and inventory-based website updates.
