Job summary

The Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester seeks a Temporary Biomechanics Research Engineer to support the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory. You will assist with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings related to biomechanics experiments on cadaveric specimens and load-testing protocols.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualified individuals will hold a Master's degree in biomedical engineering and have a broad background in musculoskeletal biomechanics and specific expertise in:

• quantitative CT analysis
• motion capture
• musculoskeletal modeling
• finite element modeling
• cadaveric specimen preparation
• materials testing

This is an on-site temporary position up to 40 hours per week. Hourly pay rate is $20 per hour depending on experience. FLSA STATUS United States of America (Non-Exempt)
