Job summary

The Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester seeks a Temporary Biomechanics Research Engineer to support the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Laboratory. You will assist with data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings related to biomechanics experiments on cadaveric specimens and load-testing protocols.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's in biomedical engineering with hands-on expertise in quantitative CT analysis, motion capture, musculoskeletal and finite element modeling.

Qualifications

Master's degree in biomedical engineering.
Broad background in musculoskeletal biomechanics.
Expertise in quantitative CT analysis.
Experience with motion capture.
Experience with musculoskeletal modeling.
Experience with finite element modeling.
Experience with cadaveric specimen preparation.
Experience with materials testing.

Responsibilities
