Job summary

Lockton On Call is seeking Temporary Benefits Coordinators to support the Open Enrollment season. You will help employees understand benefit plans, answer questions, and navigate enrollment with confidence.

The assignment runs late September through early December 2026, with 8-hour shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Compensation is $20/hour non-bilingual or $23/hour bilingual, and work location is in the Kansas City, MO or Dallas, TX area.

Responsibilities

• Provide support related to Medical, Dental, Vision, and other benefits.
• Explain new benefit plans and Open Enrollment updates.
• Support enrollment activities and communicate updates to employees.
• Answer questions with accurate information and timely responses.
• Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email.
• Enter information into HRIS and related systems daily.
• Escalate complex questions to senior team members when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a seasonal environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Provide professional and responsive support related to Medical, Dental, Vision, Spending Accounts, STD/LTD, and voluntary benefits, including critical illness, hospital indemnity, and accident plans.
• Help employees understand new benefit plans, policies, and Open Enrollment updates.
• Support Open Enrollment activities, including team huddles, reviewing client materials, and communicating important updates to employees.
• Research benefit plans and respond to employee questions with accurate and timely information.
• Provide excellent customer service through phone and email interactions.
• Complete daily administrative tasks, including reviewing and entering information into HRIS and related systems.
• Escalate complex benefit questions or issues to senior team members when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling employee benefit information and other sensitive data.
• Adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced seasonal environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
