Job summary

RFCUNY is seeking a Temporary Site Coordinator for the Compass program at Brooklyn College. The role leads daily site operations, supervises staff, and ensures after-school activities align with school-day learning while supporting youth development.

You will recruit participants, maintain records, and coordinate with school staff and community partners, while upholding safety, inclusivity, and regulatory compliance under NYC DOE and DYCD guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in child development or related field.
• Credentials for school-age care programs preferred.
• Experience with supervising childcare staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, plan age-appropriate activities, and meet program goals.
• Recruit, enroll, and manage attendance; communicate with families and school staff.
• Supervise staff; provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with administrators and community partners on program initiatives.
• Ensure documentation and certifications are kept up to date and compliant.
