ITA International, headquartered in Newport News, VA, is seeking a temporary Accountant to join our team. This role reports to the CFO via the Accounting Manager and supports AP, AR, payroll processing, and data entry with Deltek Costpoint expertise.

The position requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of proven accounting experience.
• Proficient in MS Office Tools, with an ability to learn emerging technologies at a rapid pace.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to demonstrate high level of professionalism with a variety of management levels.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements with professionalism and composure.

Responsabilités

• The Accountant will support core accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, and financial data entry and reconciliations.
• This position reports to the Accounting Manager under the Chief Financial Officer.
• Perform AP functions including invoice processing, vendor communications, and payment tracking.
• Support AR activities including invoicing, tracking outstanding balances, and assisting with collections efforts.
• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness and regulatory compliance.
• Enter and maintain financial data in Deltek Costpoint, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Accounting team, including reporting, research, and compliance tracking.
• Support audits and financial reviews as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
