Job summary

Big-D Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead the on-site delivery of a commercial ground-up project, specifically a Temple project in Idaho. The role requires managing safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction while coordinating with trade partners and stakeholders.

Travel and per-diem are expected as part of project requirements. The successful candidate will bring extensive field leadership, a strong finish-work background, and proficiency with Procore

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating specialty trades and quality control inspections.
• Strong finish work background.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Procore, P6.
• Ability to lead and manage teams.
• Effective communication with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination.
• Represents the company in meetings and interfaces with project stakeholders.
• Coordinates and directs all subcontractor and vendors.
• Works with the project team to establish goals and accountability.
• Assumes responsibility for productivity of crafts and efficient use of materials and equipment.
• Works with city officials to coordinate inspections and start dialogue from day one.
• Verifies subcontractor completes the assigned scope of work.
• Seeks to learn changes in the industry.
