Job summary

Big-D Construction is seeking a dynamic Senior Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects in Utah. The role emphasizes safety, quality, schedule control, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and city officials from day one.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience, proficiency with Procore and Primavera P6, and a proven ability to manage teams and drive contractual performance on complex builds.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience on commercial construction projects as a Superintendent.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Procore and P6 (Primavera 6).
• Ability to effectively lead and manage teams.
• Strong communication with project team, customers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors and employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination.
• Represent the company in meetings and interface with all project stakeholders.
• Coordinate and direct all subcontractors and vendors.
• Work with the project team to establish goals and accountability.
• Own productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials and equipment, and contractual performance of the project.
• Collaborate with city officials for inspections and coordinate with officials from day one.
• Verify subcontractor completion of the assigned scope of work.
• Seek to learn changes in the construction industry.
