Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of irrigation experience.
• Training as an Irrigation Technician or Water Auditor preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance of irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, train and lead volunteers and team members.
• Translate assignments into goals and tasks.
• Review performance and counsel team members.
• Develop and utilize talents to improve performance.
• Inspect, repair and program irrigation components.
• Retrofit systems to improve water efficiency.
• Design, prepare job sites and manage quality control.
• Operate heavy equipment for irrigation work.
• Train grounds staff on maintenance and water conservation.
• Collect data to assess irrigation efficiency.
