Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cedar City, Utah, is seeking a full-time Supv, Grounds for Temple grounds. You will lead a grounds team, maintain landscapes, ensure cleanliness, and uphold temple standards on-site.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in landscape gardening, horticulture, agriculture, grounds maintenance or related field.
• Experience working in a temple is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know the site and its characteristics; review landscape plans and local plant suitability.
• Ensure licenses are acquired and maintained as required by local law.
• Maintain and supervise grounds crew by hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising grounds personnel.
• Maintain grounds buildings and facilities; keep areas clean, safe, and in good repair.
• Prune trees and shrubs; manage watering, fertilizing, mowing, and weed/insect control.
• Stay within budget.
