Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two years of college completed.
• Bachelor's degree in Education preferred.
• 1+ year working with students as a teacher, teacher intern, or teaching assistant preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents and community.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teacher(s) in providing a high quality education program.
• Assist with planning and implementing lesson plans and activities.
• Assess students and track progress according to JCS guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to share best practices.
• Provide families with regular updates on student progress.
• Help manage student records and attendance as needed.
• Support differentiated instruction for diverse learning needs.
• Participate in professional development activities.
