Job summary

Jobtailor in Dallas is seeking a payroll professional to manage employee paperwork for new hires, changes, and terminations for Middle Market clients. You will ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance across client and employee databases while producing payroll checks, invoices, and standard reports.

You will balance inputs to worksheets and payroll reports, coordinate with the Finance Department, and participate in ongoing training to strengthen payroll knowledge and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience is required.
• Ability to process payroll information accurately.
• Ability to balance payroll input to worksheets and reports.
• Ability to maintain accurate client and employee database records.
• Ability to ensure payroll compliance requirements are met.
• Ability to coordinate with Finance and follow up with clients regarding funds.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, employees, and team members.
• Willingness to complete Insperity training programs and attend weekly department training meetings.

Responsibilities

• Receive employee paperwork for new hires, employee changes, and terminations from Middle Market clients.
• Uphold the integrity of client and employee databases and ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Receive and process payroll information and produce client-specific payroll checks, invoices, and standard payroll reports.
• Ensure payroll input accuracy by balancing input to payroll worksheets and payroll reports.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department when necessary and follow up with clients to ensure funds are received.
• Provide backup documentation to the Finance Department for wires when needed.
• Maintain accurate payroll delivery instructions in the system.
• Train with the Payroll team, Supervisor, and Payroll Trainers to develop skills.
• Attend weekly department training meetings and review the procedure manual on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate clearly with clients, employees, and team members.
• Consult with the Supervisor and Payroll Trainer on new or unusual client and employee questions.
