Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Fargo, ND is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Payroll Assistant to support a local company's payroll team. This assignment is expected to last approximately 30–60 days and is available for an immediate start.

The primary responsibility is entering payroll information into certified payroll reporting portals to help reduce a reporting backlog. This is not a payroll processing position but requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Previous payroll experience or a basic understanding of payroll processes preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to learn new software and reporting systems quickly.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
