Garland is seeking a carts attendant to manage morning cart staging, cleaning, fueling and returning carts to the cart barn at day’s end. The role supports golf operations and customer service across the club.
Responsibilities include maintaining cart availability, assisting with tournaments, enforcing course rules, and keeping facilities clean. A valid Texas driver’s license is required; GED or high school diploma preferred.
Summary Responsible for staging carts which includes bringing carts from the cart barn in the morning, cleaning, fueling and checking carts after each use and returning carts to cart barn at the end of the day.
Pay Range: $12.00 - $15.00 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Other duties may be assigned.
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) No experience required Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Education/ Experience: 1 year experience in similar role Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Basic knowledge of golf tournament and league operations Exceptional customer service skills Skill in communicating effectively with customers Ability to address and resolve concerns/issues raised by golf patrons Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
Valid Class C Texas driver's license
The incumbent works outside with occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental and varying weather conditions or hazards including exposure to wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional work and other physical labor such as standing for extended periods of time, walking, bending/stooping, kneeling and squatting. Must be able to lift/carry/move, at times, 40-50 pound
