Job summary

NORTH RANCH COUNTRY CLUB in Westlake Village, CA is seeking a part-time, non-exempt cart attendant to provide bag, golf cart, and range services to members and guests. You will move carts, load bags, transport range balls, maintain range equipment, and assist the Pro Shop as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license, with familiarity with golf rules. Expect outdoor work with frequent lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Cleans clubs and rental equipment; maintains Bag Storage Room.
• Attends staff meetings and supports Director of Golf / Outside Services Manager.

Job Summary (Essential Functions): Provide bag, golf cart, and range services to members and guests.

Supervises: No supervisory duties are included in this position.

Job Tasks/Duties

• Brings golf carts from the cart barn to the cart staging area outside the Golf Pro Shop; checks golf carts for tire pressure, brake operation, and other safety considerations.
• Loads bags from the bag storage room onto golf carts.
• Transports range balls to each end of the range and fills appropriate containers.
• Places baskets of balls at evenly spaced intervals on the range.
• Operates the ball picker on the range to retrieve balls.
• Washes all range balls daily.
• Removes bags from golf carts and returns bags to the assigned rack in the bag storage room.
• Returns golf carts to the cart barn; removes towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink cans, etc., from golf carts and saves reusable items; checks carts for damage; washes golf cart with pressure cleaner; parks cart in the cart barn and connects charger cable.
• Advises the Pro Shop of clubs found on the course and destined for the lost and found.
• Cleans all clubs for members and guests; cleans and maintains the club’s rental equipment.
• Maintains the cleanliness of and order in the Bag Storage Room.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Performs other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Director of Golf and/or Outside Services Manager.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold, and heat.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements and to work effectively in an environment that is typical of this position.
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, and pulling.
• Frequent repetitive motions.
• Continuous standing and walking.
