Responsibilities

• Scrapes, sorts, stacks, and scrubs pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. in preparation for warewashing machine.
• Performs cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and general cleaning.
• Operates and maintains pot & pan/dish-washing machines and area in an efficient, effective, and sanitary manner.
• Supplies serving and preparation areas with clean dishes and utensils.
• Disposes of garbage and cleans garbage cans
• Maintains satisfactory sanitation level and applies established safety procedures in assigned work areas.
• Assists storeroom clerk as assigned.
• Assist in on-the-job training of students and other employees assigned to the food service sanitation area.
