Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food ingredients and/or menu items in marketplaces and kitchens.
• Serves food to customers in the marketplace.
• Assists in on-the-job training and directs work for food service staff, including student and temporary workers.
• Assembles ingredients for recipes and menu items.
• Cleans kitchen, utensils and equipment and maintains sanitation per food safety rules.
• Notifies supervisor of food and supply needs and checks in items; maintains production records.
