Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Kitchen Helper I at the North Liberty Medical Campus. Under direct supervision, you will perform routine cleaning and other duties in the hospital food service area, including using cleaning equipment and maintaining designated kitchen spaces.

This full-time on-campus role offers a benefits package and a 12:00pm–8:30pm schedule, Monday–Friday with rotating weekends, located in North Liberty, Iowa.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Uses the appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Cleans designated kitchen areas, dish room, and restrooms.
• Transports soiled and clean dishes.
• Empties trash and recyclable material containers.
